Traffic Detours / Restrictions

There is a planned traffic detour for the Worcester Street (Route 9) Westbound Ramp
to Washington Street (Route 16) schedule to start on August 6, 2007.  This ramp will be
closed to all traffic. Please see the below map for the detour:

Parking Restrictions

Washington Street - A parking restriction is in place on Washington Street from the
intersection of Washington Street (State Route 16) and Kingsbury Street East to the
intersection of Washington Street and Worcester Street (State Route 9) from 7:30 AM
to 8:30 AM Monday through Friday.



 Washington Street - A parking restriction is in place on Washington Street from the
intersection of Washington Street (State Route 16) and Worcester Street (State Route 9)
West to the intersection of Washington Street and Kingsbury Street  from 7:30 AM to
8:30 AM Monday  through Friday.

Large Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) and Commercial Motor Vehicle Restrictions


Cedar Street - A truck restriction of 2 1/2 tons.




Rockland Street Bridge - The weight limit on the Rockland Street Bridge has been reduced to 3 Tons.

  


Washington Street (State Route 16)  - A commercial motor vehicle exclusion and restriction of 5 tons is in
place from the intersection of Washington Street (State Route 16) and Worcester Street (State Route 9) East
to the Newton Line.




Weston Road - A commercial vehicle exclusion on Weston Road from the intersection of Weston Road
and Washington Street (State Route 16) North to the intersection of Central Street (State Route 135).
