On Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 1:20 p.m. the Wellesley Police Department’s Emergency Communications Center received a 9-1-1 call from a resident on Falmouth Road about an interrupted breaking and entering. The homeowner indicated that she had just returned home and a landscaping contractor who had arrived shortly beforehand observed two men fleeing from the rear of the residence.
The two parties were described as wearing black or dark hooded sweatshirts with dark pants, possibly wearing masks and having dark colored skin.
Officers and Detectives from the Wellesley Police Department, Weston Police Department and Massachusetts State Police arrived on scene and began checking the area and surrounding streets. A K-9 was requested from the Massachusetts State Police and assistance was provided by the State Police Air Wing.
Officers spoke with several residents and contractors working in the area and were unable to locate the suspects after a thorough search.
Detectives remained on scene to process the residence for any potential evidence.
